Metro Area Personal Computer Club
                                                     Since 1982

                           Come One, Come All!
M.A.P.C.C. members meet monthly to share ideas, discuss problems and simply to get together. We are a small, impersonal group that simply enjoys getting together. No "high-tech" jargon to confuse the beginner!  We are also the longest running computer club in the Omaha/Co. Bluffs area.
Our club has purchased all its own equipment including an electronic projector and built-in movie screen to make  demonstrations more appealing.  Thanks to the management of
Godfather’s Pizza, we also have high speed Internet available in our meeting area.

Meeting Procedure:

A drawing is held at the start of each meeting, then during the business portion, the minutes of the past meeting and the treasury report are read,  followed by questions, computer problems and/or general discussion of coming events.  We then take a short break,  (Pizza, drinks, the 'little room', etc.)  When the meeting resumes, volunteers offer a demonstration of software, hardware or basic teaching of computer skills, capped off by a final drawing at the close of the meeting.  Annual functions include our 'Action  Auction', Summer Picnic and Christmas Party.

We meet the 3rd. Tuesday of each month except December, at Godfather’s Pizza,  30th & West Broadway in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  Meeting begins at 7:00 P.M. Visitors welcome.

Annual Dues: $15.00 for individual membership, $20.00 for family membership

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

NEW MEETING TIME:  7 P.M.

Next Meeting:  July 20, 2010
DEMO: Joe will demonstrate a very powerful photo program and offer a free copy of the program to whoever comes closest to guessing the selling price.

Why not make definite plans to attend this meeting?  If you're one who hasn't attended lately, we missed you!  The more folks we have in attendance, the more activity, ideas, questions and answers we will have and that's what makes for a more successful meeting.  Hope to see you  at the next meeting.   Don't forget; New 'start time' - 7 P.M.
