computer?
Come and learn! Our members range
from beginners to advanced with varying interests including general
computer maintenance, word-processing, database,
spreadsheet, games, digital photo manipulation, movie editing and
much more.
We
meet monthly to share ideas, discuss problems and simply to get
together. The Club has purchased all its own equipment, including
an electronic projector and built-in movie screen to make
presentations more convenient. Thanks to the management of
Godfather’s Pizza, we also have high speed Internet
available in our meeting area.
A drawing is held at the beginning of each meeting, then we
conduct the business portion which is followed by a short
break. Volunteers then offer a demonstration of software, hardware or
basic teaching of computer skills, capped off by a
final drawing.
Annual functions
include our 'Action Auction', Summer Picnic and Christmas
Party. We meet the 3rd. Tuesday of
each month except December, at Godfather’s Pizza, 30th &
West Broadway in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Meeting
begins at 7:30
P.M.
Annual
Dues: $15.00 individual, $20.00family.
The Annual Christmas Party was a great success. We filled
the hall. Happy you attended, but if you were one of the very
few who didn't... well, you missed a great time! There were TWO-
$25.00 Door Prizes awarded plus many Gold Dollars to Bingo winners. We had
a great variety of delicious food. As usual, Dee Hindman did a
terrific job of coordinating things, and is so very much
appreciated. THANKS to ALL who pitched-in to make the 2008 event
another success, our 25th consecutive Annual Christmas
Party!

Meeting: January 20th, 2009
Demo: Joe will be showing some basic steps in handling
and manipulating digital photos. Mark your calendar for this
meeting, since there is quite a long, dry spell between the November
meeting and the January, 2009 one. Hope to see you there.
